From the early days where I would personally deliver all your orders right to the many pop-up stores Hippie Chicks participated in, what started out as one conversation about finding well-designed & quality junior bras for tweens and teens quickly evolved into sharing about raising girls.

The joys, the frustrations, on navigating difficult conversations of prickly or sensitive topics; on getting them to read more; how to control manage their digital consumption, respecting their space, how to be better listeners to them, what does spending quality time with girls look like etc etc….oh! there was just so much!!!

So with all these and from my life as a Mother to four children, I decided to create this Editorial which I also envision as the cultural arm of Hippie Chicks by VAN. This will be our curated editorial space for girls, teens and the adults raising them to explore identity, culture, social hierarchies and the realities of growing up. We are not here to chase trends. We are here to observe closely, think clearly and choose well — because life is already pretty complex BUT you know what, life is good – as good as we make it to be!
